Weathervanes
& Cupolas
Looking for a weathervane or cupola to add charm to your building? Skip’s will help you find a custom solution that fits your needs and budget.
We offers top quality shed cupolas to fit any size smaller structure, including sheds, gazebos, and small garages, handcrafted by the Amish in Lancaster PA.
Our shed cupola base is offered in a flared style only and constructed of paint-able vinyl lumber for years of maintenance free use. Cupola base is available in these sizes, 16", 18", 21", 24" & 30", and large enough for 8 pitch cutout. The width of cupola roof is 2" wider than base width. Choose from a straight top aluminum, straight top copper or concave copper, standing seam roof. All shed cupolas include a .75" weather vane hole. All exterior screws are stainless steel.
When choosing an appropriate size for your cupola, the recommended calculation is ridge length in feet x 1 to 1.5 = size in inches. so if sizing the cupola for a 10'x16' shed with a 16' ridge, 16 x 1 or 1.5 = 16" to 24" as the range. So 16" or 18" or 24" shed cupola sizes would all be appropriate. Most of our customers lean towards the larger size recommendation, so the cupola is more prominently featured on your structure.
Still unsure? ask your salesperson, and they can recommend the appropriate size for your structure.
